Hi! Bolivia is amazing, as you’ll see. Dream about Bolivia, visit Bolivia, virtually tour Bolivia. It’s amazing how much is packed into one tiny country.
Today is a special post on unusual things to do in Bolivia. This post was fun to write as it made me realize how much I did there. Actually, today is a special day for two reasons.
First, today is Dipavali, the festival of light in the Vedic Tradition, one of my favorite holidays. It celebrates bringing light to remove ignorance and peace to remove violence. It is a day for awakening, traditionally celebrated by lighting lamps, tea lights, and strands of twinkle lights around the house. I have always celebrated it with y family (from around the world). I love the reminder to start fresh and bring the light into daily life.
First Guest Post
Second, today I had the great privilege of writing my first guest post. I reached out to Laura, at https://www.eternal-expat.comand asked if she would be interested. She has been so kind, helpful and supportive. Thanks for making my first guest post so encouraging, Laura!
I really enjoy Laura’s blog, which offers a unique perspective at teaching English and traveling the world. I like how practical and real her advice is – and the beautiful photos she shares.
She asked me to write about my experience in Bolivia, to share off the beaten path tips and inspiration. As my entire Bolivian experience was off the beaten path, I was happy that is what she wanted!

Wishing that the light of Dipavli fills your heart with joy today and makes you remember that no matter where you are in life, that light in your heart can always find a way to shine.
See you on Friday.
